  • Take guidance and direction from the Head of International AML & Regional AML Compliance Leads for Ant International Business

  • Responsible for end-to-end AML Compliance advisory and manage a broad spectrum of AML compliance risk issues to safeguard the e-payment activities and / or enable new payment solutions for e-commerce platforms and businesses

Financial Reporting Senior Accountant

In this position, you will:

 

Reporting responsibilities relating to the consolidated financial statements:

  • Assist in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements, analytical reviews, as well as other reporting deliverables to shareholders

    • meet information needs for the business and provide financial information to management and shareholders

    • supporting role to provide guidance to venture finance on the production of useful trend and proportion analysis on their financial statements using financial data and operational metrics to facilitate preparation of group analytics

  • Review monthly financial statements submitted by local finance to ensure their accuracy

    • assist with dealing with complex accounting issues and meeting reporting requirements

  • Assist in preparation of technical memorandums that document issues in a clear, logical comprehensive manner

 

Accounting functions for the investment holding entities:

  • Perform routine month-end closing activities – accruals, prepayment, forex revaluation, fixed assets maintenance, journal entries, etc.

  • Prepare monthly Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow Statement, as well as other reporting deliverables

  • Prepare schedules and assist the auditors (Group and local) in their inquiries

  • Participate in other projects as required

 

Requirements:​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting

  • CPA or Chartered Accountant with 4-6 years accounting experience preferred, mix private and big 4 public accounting experience (with heavy exposure to financial reporting and consolidation) at Managerial level or higher

  • Knowledge of US GAAP is an added advantage
